Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of adult inpatient, outpatient, and ICU experience for a day shift position.

\n \n Responsibilities\n
  • Work in an interventional radiology unit serving adult inpatient, outpatient, and ICU populations
  • Responsibilities include procedures such as stents, angioplasty, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephograms, peripheral and neuro studies, GU, abdominal and pelvis, biopsies, drainages, vascular and venous access, and upper/lower extremity procedures
  • Utilize specialized equipment including PACS, C-arm, contrast injectors (preferably ACIST), pushable/detachable coils, micro catheters, micro wires, Snare Kits, and injector systems
  • Epic EMR experience is required
  • Day shifts are 4x10 hours, from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • Call rotation averages 10 days per month, including weekends
  • No floating is required within the hospital
  • Must be available to work assigned major holidays per contract terms
  • Pre-employment modules are required prior to starting, varying in length and recorded on transcripts
  • Scrubs are provided by the facility
  • Onsite parking is available at no cost
  • Travelers must be clean shaven for respirator FIT testing and obtain OSHA Respirator Clearance prior to start
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • A 6-month break is required for travelers seeking to return after working one year at the facility

  • Minimum of 2 years recent experience in interventional radiology with exposure to adult outpatient, inpatient, and ICU settings
  • Current ARRT and BLS certifications required
  • Experience with PACS, C-arm, contrast, and a wide range of IR procedures as specified is necessary
  • Experience with Epic charting system required
  • Proficiency using pushable/detachable coils, micro catheters, micro wires, Snare Kits, and injector systems
  • Must provide two professional references from a supervisor within the past two years
  • Candidates must live more than 70 miles from the facility; locals are not accepted
  • License required if applicable
