What would be your main responsibilities as a Sales Representative: Acquire and maintain a strong working knowledge of Quadra’s product portfolio and services. Identify and fully qualify potential new accounts and evaluate sales potential within the assigned territory. Maintain detailed records of prospects, customer contacts, sales calls, samples, and opportunities in the CRM. Prepare and submit sales forecasts. Provide support to the sales team, including lead management and coordination of bids and proposals. Offer backup support for team members while they are traveling. Assist the sales team with organizing call reports, setting up new customers, preparing documentation, and other sales-related activities. Report on changes in business trends, customer concerns, market dynamics, and competitor activity. Participate in training programs to enhance product and sales knowledge. Attend sales meetings and tradeshows as directed by the Sales Manager. Plan pre-call agendas for key accounts in the territory with the Sales Manager. Make joint field calls with the sales team to further develop sales skills and training. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and skills: Bachelor’s degree in science, chemistry, marketing, business, or related field. Strong time management and organizational skills, with proven ability to adhere to tight deadlines. Experience in the food industry would be an asset. Ability and determination to seek out and pursue new business opportunities and make cold calls and prospect over the phone. Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Team player accustomed to a fast-paced environment. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Detail-oriented with superior organizational and problem-solving skills. Possess a high degree of resourcefulness, flexibility and adaptability. Demonstrate initiative, self-reliance, entrepreneurial spirit and ability to handle pressure. Strong computer skills (ideally with a CRM such as Salesforce and be able to work effectively with the Office 365 suite).
