Job Description
Immediate opportunity for a Research Associate II to work with a biotechnology company focused on developing gene therapies for rare, genetic diseases located in South San Francisco, CA.
Schedule/Shift: 1st shift, Mon.-Fri.
Position Type: Contract position for 6 mos. (through June 2025), extension possible.
Job Summary: As a Research Associate II, you will play a critical role in sample creation and preparation. These samples include plasmid preparation, cloning, RNA/DNA extraction from tissues, ddPCR, NGS library preparation. The Associate will also employ the methods for routine analysis of study samples. As a key member of the Vector Bioscience team, you will be contributing directly to these activities as hands-on experimenter and by analysis and interpretation of the data.
