Position: Part-Time Project Manager
Reports to: County Administrator
Classification: Contractual Employee
Salary Level: $30.00 - $50.00/hr commensurate with experience
Summary:
Lee County is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of software data conversion with Tyler Technologies across multiple departments. The ideal candidate will manage resources, timelines, budgets and stakeholder communication to ensure the project is delivered on time and within scope.
Goals and Objectives:
Lee County's goal is to select a Project Manager who will be able to provide high quality project management and service skills, is collaborative and has good team and interpersonal skills. The County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, in whole or in part, submitted in response to this announcement. The County further reserves the right to make no hire and to modify or cancel, in whole or in part, this announcement. Only one candidate will be selected.
Position Overview:
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the implementation of Tyler software by developing strategy for the program team as well as coordinating people and processes to ensure that the project is delivered on time, produces the desired results and remains within budget. This position serves as the go-to person for everything involving a project's organization and timeline as well as effective communication throughout the project lifecycle. The Project Manager understands court business processes and recommends solutions for process improvement as well as balances technical expertise with a general understanding of the Circuit Clerk's and Judiciary's business objectives to provide innovative, efficient solutions. This position will also play a key part in risk management, issue resolution and team leadership.

Estimated term of Service:
The term will be no less than six (6) months, effective upon the hire date. The County may elect to extend the term with all terms and conditions remaining the same as evidenced by a written notice to extent at least two (2) months prior to the end of the initial term. The County may terminate the position with or without prior notice.
Work Environment:
Work is performed in an office setting, court setting or remotely. Travel may be required. The assigned work schedule may include nights and weekends.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities for this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus. The employee is frequently required to sit and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone and keyboard. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, climb stairs, and balance, lift and carry up to twenty-five (25) pounds.
