El Cajon Physical Therapy is looking for a Podiatrist to join our team!

Our company is located in El Cajon, San Diego. We are patient-driven and provide quality care to a diverse group of patients, offering orthopedic and massage therapy, functional therapy, and sports rehabilitation services. As a Podiatrist, you will be providing initial assessments and routine podiatric services to patients. This is a part-time or full-time position.

Education and Experience:

1. Current active license as a Podiatrist in the State of California
2. Doctoral degree in Podiatric Medicine from an Accredited School of Podiatry
3. Completion of an accredited podiatric residency program
4. Minimum of three (3) years of applicable professional experience
5. Proficient computer skills; experience using EMR systems
6. Ability to work well in a team
7. Ability to make decisions in a busy work environment

Responsibilities:

1. Examine patients legs and feet to determine and diagnose diseases and develop care plans
2. Treat bone, muscle, and joint disorders affecting the feet and ankles
3. Perform wound care management
4. Diagnose diseases and deformities of the foot and ankle using medical histories, physical examinations, x-rays, and laboratory test results
5. Advise patients about treatment plans and foot and ankle care techniques to help with prevention of future problems
6. Provide education/consultation to patients, family, and health care team members
7. Provide patients with health promotions and preventive medication
8. Properly maintain medical records
