\nRegistered Nurse - PACU
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 3x12 hour shifts, Monday-Friday from 9:00 PM to 9:00 AM with variable start times
\n• 40 guaranteed hours per week
\n• Patient ratio of 1:2
\n• Rotate primarily between PACU and pre/post interventional radiology area within PACU unit
\n• 24 hours of call per 6-week schedule period as needed
\n• Float within service line as needed to meet facility needs
\n• 1 year of experience required, first-timers accepted
\n• No weekends required but may be available as staffing changes
\n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, Vents, IV start, Telemetry
\n• PACU and critical care experience required
\n• Epic charting system experience required
\n• Must pass Relias EKG exam
\n• Navy scrubs required
\n• Manage complicated postoperative patients including multiple drains, vasoactive drips, mechanical ventilation, and recovery from general anesthesia
\n• Care for surgical patients including GU, GYN, Colorectal, minimally invasive procedures, Bariatric, and some ENT cases
\n• Work with patient age groups: Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics
\n• Maximum 7 days RTO per 13-week contract
\n• Must reside at least 75 miles from facility
\n• 40 hours of orientation provided

\nThis Level I Trauma Center is a 1,266-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital that provides comprehensive surgical services and critical care. The facility features advanced PACU services with interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, interpretation services, and rapid response teams. The hospital specializes in complex postoperative care for trauma patients and maintains state-of-the-art equipment for managing critically ill patients requiring mechanical ventilation and vasoactive medication support.
