Medical Collections Specialist

Medical Collections Specialist ’s Responsibilities

• Resolve billing and customer credit issues.
• Follow up with insurance companies regarding unpaid Radiology claims.
• Send letters of appeal for denied claims.
• Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts.

Medical Collections Specialist ’s Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Three (3) years of medical denial management, government, and managed care insurance, and personal collections experience is required.
• Three (3) years of experience with Medical Denials is required.
• Profound knowledge of collection techniques and billing procedures is highly recommended.
• Strong attention to detail and verbal and written communication skills are required.

• Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
