Position Title: Lead Slitting Machine Operator

Wage: $20.00 - $23.00/hour

Shift: 2nd

Hours: 3:00pm – 12:00am

Lead Slitting Machine Operator Responsibilities:
- Reviews and understands production order
- Set up and operate slitting equipment
- Communicate with Material Handlers material requirements to meet production or packaging demands
- Load material and set correct blade position
- Communicate workload status with Production Manager and other Team Leaders to coordinate the processes of each area’s responsibility
- Troubleshoot faults during running
- Calculate material usage including scrap
- Label finished product with part numbers, work order numbers, lot numbers, customer information, and any other information required to efficiently process the product
- Suggest process improvements to improve quality, efficiency, safety and communication.

Requirements for Lead Slitting Machine Operator:
- Ability to read and understand production orders and verbal instructions
- Ability to record data neatly and accurately
- Ability to read a tape measure with extreme accuracy
- Ability to lift at least 50lbs
