Job Summary:

• A team member at this level is expected to perform a variety of tasks related to forge/heat treat in a modern, manufacturing setting. This position requires a mechanical and technical aptitude and an ability to follow work instructions. Comply with all environmental, health, and safety requirement.
• This is a 3rd shift opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Able to read and follow work instructions.
• Measure and inspect forged parts to ensure conformance to product specifications.
• Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
• Measure concentricity using indicators.
• Able to read forge blueprints.
• Build heat-treat load per work instruction.
• Load/Unload furnace

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Forging experience and knowledge of forge cell

Additional Information:

Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.

What is my role type?

In addition to transforming the future of flight, we are also transforming how and where we work. We’ve introduced role types to help you understand how you will operate in our blended work environment. This role is:

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. This means that responsibilities of the job need to be performed onsite on a regular basis.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
