Key Job Details:
Location: 50-mile radius from Sumner, WA
Lanes: Serving dealerships in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho
Schedule: Monday Friday, with possible Saturday deliveries. Drivers are home daily but may have occasional layovers to cover routes in Clackamas or Yakima.
Deliveries: Drivers will deliver aftermarket car parts to Hyundai/Kia dealerships. Duties include unlocking dealership gates, driving into the maintenance facility, and unloading into parts rooms using hand trucks or pallet jacks.
Equipment: You ll operate 2020 Freightliner automatic trucks pulling 32 or 40 dry vans with lift gates.
Freight Type: This is a hands-on job with driver off-loads into dealership parts rooms.
Truck Speed: 65 MPH
Compensation:
Pay Rate: $0.68 per mile
Hourly Pay: $26.00/hour for non-driving activities such as assisting in the dock or office.
Stop Pay: $11.17 per stop
Layover Pay: $70 per layover
Guaranteed Weekly Minimum: $1,500
Average Annual Pay: $78,000
New Hire Transition Bonus: $500, paid on your second paycheck.
Requirements:
Experience: At least 12 months of recent tractor-trailer experience.
Comfort with Tight Spaces: Must be comfortable maneuvering in tight dealership facilities.
Other: No pets or passengers are allowed on Hyundai accounts, and this position requires night driving.
