Director of Housekeeping – Healthcare Facility

A well-established healthcare organization is seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Housekeeping to lead our environmental services team in a skilled nursing setting. This is a full-time leadership role offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of residents and staff by ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations across resident rooms, common areas, and clinical spaces

• Manage, train, and schedule housekeeping staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness and infection control

• Conduct regular inspections and quality audits to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards

• Collaborate with nursing and administrative teams to support facility-wide initiatives

• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring cost-effective usage

• Develop and implement policies and procedures for efficient housekeeping operations

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in housekeeping, preferably in healthcare or long-term care

• Strong knowledge of infection control protocols and regulatory compliance

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification in environmental services preferred
