\n\nJob Description\n

This position is for an Adaptive Acuity Unit. On occasion, travelers will be expected to provide PCU care at a 3:1 patient-to-nurse ratio, which is non-negotiable. The role requires experience with IV drips and charge nurse responsibilities. Nurses will also need to float to any inpatient unit within their scope of practice.

\n\nResponsibilities\n

\n
• Provide care to patients in an Adaptive Acuity Unit.
\n
• Manage multiple patients efficiently during shifts.
\n
• Perform as charge nurse when required.
\n
• Administer IV drips and other necessary medications.
\n

\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n

\n
• Minimum of 2 years of current Med-Surg/Tele experience.
\n
• Charge experience is required.
\n
• PCU experience is strongly preferred.
\n
• IV drip experience is required.
\n
• ICU experience is strongly preferred.
\n
• Must have a valid ACLS and BLS certification from AHA.
\n
• Must have a current Vermont state nursing license.
\n
• Minimum of 3 months previous travel experience is required.
\n
