Hennebery Eddy Architects seeks highly skilled architectural interns to join our team. Our summer internship program is structured around five focus areas designed to give you first-hand exposure to a range of topics associated with the profession. Interns will be responsible for supporting project teams in the design, coordination, and detailing of architectural materials and systems. Architectural interns will collaborate with project architects and designers to translate the design direction of a project into a thoughtfully crafted expression of the client's goals and programmatic requirements. This position is located in the Portland, OR office. Relocation stipend will be offered.

Responsibilities

• Assist with program development, design conceptualization, regulatory coordination, and technical aspects of projects through construction documents and construction administration
• Organize, prepare, and present design and technical solutions in a client context
• Contribute to office culture, initiatives, and learning programs

Qualifications

• Evidence of strong design, organizational, and technical skills
• Graphic presentation skills, including hand sketching ability
• Proficiency in the use of 2D/3D software such as Revit, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Bluebeam, or Rhino
• Ability to foster innovation in design, construction technology, and sustainable design
• Excellent time management, collaboration, and communication skills
• Familiarity with LEED standards encouraged
• A minimum of two references
