Structural Drafter

Selectek is seeking a proactive Structural Drafter to partner with our project engineers on a range of low-rise commercial projectsspanning offices, retail, and light industrial facilities. You'll transform design concepts into accurate, build-ready drawings in AutoCAD and Revit, ensuring every detail meets code, schedule, and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce detailed structural plans, elevations, sections, and connection details in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Incorporate redline comments and coordinate revisions across all drawing sets.
• Assist senior engineers with research, schematic design, and simple structural calculations or quantity take-offs.
• Verify that structural framing dimensions align with architectural requirements; flag and resolve discrepancies.
• Apply current building codes, materials standards, and construction practices to all documentation.
• Maintain organized drawing files and help track project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
• Professionally communicate with engineers, architects, clients, and internal team members to gather information and clarify design intent.

Required Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Drafting or other technical drafting credential (preferred).
• 2+ years of structural drafting experience on commercial building projects.
• Proven proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Working knowledge of commercial construction methods, materials, and building codes.
• Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to self-manage workload within a project team.
• Professional, respectful communication style with both clients and colleagues.
• Comfortable collaborating in a team environment with minimal supervision.

Pay Rate: $25.00 - $30.00 (flexible depending on experience)
