Job Title: Special Education Teacher
Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:30 AM 3:30 PM
Overview:
We are seeking a committed Special Education Teacher to serve students in grades K8 with a tentative caseload of approximately 1518 students . This role involves providing individualized instruction, case management, and support to help students meet their academic, behavioral, and social-emotional goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct instruction tailored to student needs in both individual and small group settings.
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to support student success.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all due process requirements.
Requirements:
Minnesota Teaching License with Special Education or Academic Behavior Strategist (ABS) endorsement (required).
Minimum 2 years of recent teaching experience in special education.
Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
