Job Description

Our educational services organization is committed to supporting student mental health and academic success through comprehensive psychological services delivered by licensed professionals. We provide remote school psychology support that ensures students receive timely, expert interventions while maintaining the flexibility and accessibility that virtual platforms offer.

Role Description

This School Psychologist position focuses on delivering comprehensive psychological services to students with diverse learning, behavioral, and emotional needs through our established virtual service framework. You'll manage a caseload of 42-52 students across various grade levels while providing 36-37 hours of weekly services including assessment, counseling, crisis intervention, and collaborative consultation.

Your work will center on conducting thorough psychological evaluations, developing targeted intervention strategies, and providing direct counseling services to support student success. The remote format allows for innovative service delivery while maintaining strong therapeutic relationships and effective collaboration with educational teams and families.

Primary Duties

As a School Psychologist, you'll conduct comprehensive assessments to identify learning disabilities, emotional disturbances, and behavioral concerns, while developing evidence-based interventions tailored to individual student needs. Your responsibilities include providing individual and group counseling sessions, facilitating virtual parent consultation meetings, and participating in multidisciplinary team decision-making processes.

You'll create and implement behavior intervention plans, conduct functional behavior assessments, provide crisis intervention and safety planning services, and deliver professional consultation to teachers regarding classroom strategies. Additional duties include maintaining detailed case records, coordinating with external mental health providers, participating in virtual IEP meetings, and providing ongoing progress monitoring for all students served.

Licensing Requirements

Candidates must possess valid Kentucky School Psychologist licensure and hold a Master's degree in School Psychology or related mental health field. A minimum of 2 years of experience providing psychological services in school environments is required, with demonstrated competency in assessment, intervention, and consultation practices.

Essential qualifications include expertise in psychoeducational assessment procedures, experience with virtual counseling and consultation delivery, knowledge of behavioral intervention strategies, and familiarity with special education law and procedures. Strong communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and comfort with technology platforms are necessary for effective remote service delivery in diverse educational settings.
