North Berkshire School Union - Clarksburg, Florida, Rowe, Savoy, and Monroe The North Berkshire School Union is seeking an experienced and dedicated Interim School Business Administrator to manage the full scope of business and financial operations for five districts . This temporary leadership role ensures fiscal responsibility, operational continuity, and compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, while supporting the distinct needs of each district and its governance structure. Key Responsibilities District-Specific Budget Management Develop, manage, and oversee individual budgets for each district Present budgets to School Committees and Town Officials for review and approval Monitor and report revenues and expenditures separately for each district Financial and Operational Oversight Oversee payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and purchasing across districts Manage grant reporting and compliance for all schools Collaborate with municipal treasurers and accountants in five towns Ensure compliance with DESE and federal reporting requirements Human Resources responsibilities with staff across districts Governance & Board Relations Attend School Committee meetings in each district as needed Prepare tailored financial reports for each district's School Committee Serve as a key advisor to the Superintendent on financial and operational matters Town Collaboration Coordinate with town administrators, finance committees, and treasurers Align district operations with each town’s budget cycle and financial processes Facilitate shared services or reimbursement agreements as applicable Requires travel between multiple school and municipal offices To apply please submit the following: Letter of intent, three letters of recommendation, relevant certifications, and academic transcripts.
