Salesforce QA Test Analyst

Location: Nashville, TN (1 day on-site, moving to 5 days on-site in the near future)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm CST

Job Type: W2 Contract, potential to extend or convert

Pay Range: $48 - 54/hourly with optional benefits packages including PTO, holiday pay, medical insurance, and 401k

Position’s Contributions to Work Group:

• Enhanced Quality Assurance: Ensures the reliability and functionality of Salesforce applications through rigorous testing, reducing the likelihood of defects and improving overall system performance.
• Improved Business Processes: Identifies and recommends improvements to existing workflows, leading to more efficient and effective business operations.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Acts as a bridge between technical teams and business users, facilitating clear communication and understanding of project requirements and goals.
• Comprehensive Documentation: Maintains detailed documentation of test cases, results, and business requirements, providing valuable references for future projects and audits.
• User Training and Support: Provides training sessions and support for end-users, enhancing their ability to utilize Salesforce features effectively and independently.
• Agile Methodology Adherence: Contributes to the Agile/Scrum process by participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and review sessions, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.
• Data-Driven Insights: Analyzes complex data sets to provide actionable insights that inform decision-making and strategic planning.

Typical Task Breakdown:

• Work is either assigned through projects (typically in Azure DevOps) and ServiceNow.
• Most efforts have some form of project update meeting or daily/weekly SCRUM.

Education & Experience Required:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent training required.
• 5-7 years related experience required.

Technical Skills (Required):

• Proficiency in using the Salesforce platform, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, etc.
• Experience with software testing tools is preferred but not mandatory if strong manual testing skills are demonstrated.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills capable of interpreting complex data sets into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills enabling effective interaction between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders alike.
• Ability to conduct requirement gathering sessions via workshops/interviews, documenting action items.

Soft Skills (Required):

• Strong communication skills with business users.
• Strong collaboration with team members.
• Ability to learn and apply new knowledge quickly.
