Geisinger's Neuroscience Institute is seeking a physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join the neurology team at Geisinger Scenery Park in State College, PA. The ideal candidate will enjoy a full-time outpatient clinic position with no weekends and no call. The team sees a mix of general neurology and subspecialty neurology patients. The successful Physician Assistant must be a graduate of a ARC-approved physician assistant program, eligible or certified by the National Commission for the Certification of Physician Assistants and eligible or certified by the State Board of Medicine. The successful Nurse Practitioner candidate will have a certificate of completion from an approved program for Nurse Practitioners and must be eligible for or certified by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing. Must be certified to work with all patient population age groups. Experience: Certification(s) and License(s): Basic Life Support Certification, Certified Physician Assistant - National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Skills: Care Management Knowledge, Clinical Policies And Standards, Health Information Documentation, Patient Assessment And Care, Patient Safety, Patients Rights.
