Job Description

Bathing Brands seeks a talented Product Photographer & Multimedia Artist (Generalist Creative) to capture high-quality images of our vast product catalog for marketing, e-commerce, and promotional materials. This person must have the ability to take concepts and ideas and compose visual representations in multiple formats, including print and electronic media, for our multiple e-commerce sites and brands. Please note : this position is not remote. It is primarily on-site with the option of some hybrid work.

The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive portfolio illustrating the breadth of their work. This position requires the ability to understand, develop, and drive the goal of each project, campaign, and marketing vision, create compelling and contemporary assets, and deliver marketing collateral on schedule. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of modern photographic techniques and trends in product imagery, design concepts, and current design software, and have experience with every step of the design process, from concept to final deliverable. They will also strive to stay current with industry trends and standards, while maintaining a solid understanding of design fundamentals.

The Photographer & Multimedia Artist will work under the guidance of the Digital Marketing Manager and collaborate with teams across the company. The successful candidate will be able to adapt and remain agile in response to the rapid pace of our company's, brands', and partners' needs. They will also have a thorough conceptual understanding of how imagery works within branding and marketing and be able to find the right style and layout for every project.

The candidate chosen must have a strong background   in the following:

• Product photography, Adobe Creative Suite, conceptual design, UX/UI design, video production, and editing software

Candidates without experience in the above areas will not be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Create visually appealing imagery for interactive applications, web design, and some print design.
• Manage lighting, backdrops, and camera angles to showcase a product's features and details.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative concepts and ideas
• Edit and format video for promotional materials
• Manipulate and retouch photos to enhance visual impact
• Design layouts for various marketing materials such as landing pages, email, and social media
• Present design concepts and ideas to clients or internal stakeholders
• Utilize design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for prototyping
• At times, be requested to create presentations on platforms such as PowerPoint

Skills:

• Expertise in digital photography, including operating cameras and lighting equipment.
• Ability to identify the best angles and techniques to highlight product features and appeal to customers.
• Proficient in graphic design software and tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Bridge, Lightroom).
• A strong eye for detail to capture every aspect of a product, from its design to any subtle imperfections.
• Understanding of layout design principles and typography.
• Skilled in video editing software and techniques.
• Familiarity with content management systems for website updates.
• Familiarity with photo manipulation techniques and tools (e.g., the use of A.I. technologies).
• Ability to present design concepts effectively to stakeholders
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Not required, yet very helpful:

• Knowledge of the design process for multimedia mobile or web interfaces
• Familiarity with AI generative software (Flow, etc.)
