Job Description
Are you a Payroll professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for accurate, efficient processing? We're building a talent pipeline of skilled Payroll Administrators and Coordinators for future opportunities with our clients — including a well-established and dynamic organization in the energy sector.
If you have hands-on experience with full-cycle payroll and the tools to back it up (think: ADP, Ceridian, UKG, Sage, QuickBooks ), we want to hear from you.
What You'll Typically Be Doing:
Process payroll updates including new hires, terminations, timesheets, and adjustments
Run and reconcile test and final payrolls using tools like UKG, ADP, Ceridian, or similar
Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees, managers, and government agencies
Complete post-payroll tasks: RRSP contributions, garnishments, WSIB, benefit remittances
Support month-end and year-end processes, including T4s and government filings
Assist in training employees on payroll tools and contribute to process improvement
What We Look For:
2+ years of full-cycle payroll experience
Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation
Experience with systems such as UKG, ADP, Ceridian, Sage, QuickBooks
Proficiency in Excel (intermediate to advanced)
Excellent communication and time management skills
PCP certification (or in progress) is a strong asset
Bilingualism (French/English) is an added bonus
