*Client *is located in Grand Rapids area near 36th st and Kalamazoo. Looking to fill Nursing hours Mondays 3p-5p, Tuesdays 12p-5p, Wednesday 3p-9p, Thursdays 12p-5p, Fridays 3p-5p. Every other weekend hours: Saturday 9a-3p and Sunday 9a-2p. 25-26 hours per week!

*Responsibilities*
* Take and record vital signs
* Monitor patient’s condition and report changes/concerns to appropriate medical professionals and family members
* Administer prescribed medications including injections, enemas/suppositories, etc. as ordered by Physician
* Trach and vent care with suctioning
* cough assist
* Feeding tube care and Wound care
* Hoyer transfers
* Repositioning and turning client in bed
* Provide emotional and psychological support when needed
* Understands First Aid and Emergency Care protocols
* Complete electronic documentation while on shift
*Skills*
* Successful completion of LPN or RN license program is a must
* 1 year experience as LPN or RN
* Familiarity with home health, safety and sanitation standards and procedures
* Understanding of confidentiality and Privacy Laws and nursing best practices
* Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work as a team
* Ability to learn electronic verification charting software
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Compassionate and able to handle tough situations if needed
* Trach and vent care experience is a *MUST*
