At Omni Wound Physicians (OWP), we are expanding our mobile wound care services throughout California. Our dedicated team provides specialized wound care directly to skilled nursing facilities, long-term care centers, and private residences. Our mission is to improve patient outcomes, reduce hospital readmissions, and enhance access to wound care across both urban and rural communities.
We are actively seeking skilled Wound Care Medical Doctors (MDs) to lead our mobile services in various regions. Whether you prefer working in major cities, suburban areas, or underserved rural communities, we have opportunities that align with your expertise.

Flexible Schedule & Shift Options:Minimum Requirement: At least two shifts per week .
Typical Shifts: Between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM (local time, hours may vary).
Full-Time: Minimum of 30+ hours per week with full benefits.
Part-Time: Minimum of 2 shifts per week with paid sick time accrual available.
On-Call & Weekend Work: May be required, with advance notice for personal commitments.

Advanced Tools: Utilize EHR systems and resources to enhance patient care efficiency.
Evaluate and manage acute and chronic wounds, including venous, arterial, diabetic, pressure, and post-surgical wounds.
Perform debridement, NPWT management, tissue biopsies, and gastrostomy tube care.
Monitor healing progress and adjust therapies based on clinical outcomes.
Provide education and training on wound care for patients, caregivers, and facility staff.
Maintain accurate, timely records in EHR systems.
Travel daily to various care sites across California.
Assist in workflow optimization and team training as needed for expansion.
Required:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
Active, unrestricted medical license in California.
Board certification in a relevant specialty (Surgery preferred; OB/GYN, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine accepted).
3 to 6 years of clinical experience in wound care or related fields.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Reliable transportation and valid California driver’s license.
Preferred:
Wound Care Certification (CWSP, CWS) or intent to obtain within six months.
DEA registration for prescription authority (preferred but not required).
Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or home health settings.
Familiarity with EHR systems and workflow tools.
