Responsibilities:

The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for the precise and safe assembly of mechanical components, including accumulators and pressure vessels, used in demanding industrial applications such as oil & gas and construction. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

  • Assemble mechanical components including pressure vessels, accumulators, valves, and fittings according to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • \n
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions to ensure accurate assembly.
  • \n
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments to perform tasks such as drilling, threading, torquing, and sealing.
  • \n
  • Inspect parts and assemblies for defects or deviations from specifications using gauges, calipers, and other measuring tools.
  • \n
  • Perform pressure testing and leak testing on assembled units to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.
  • \n
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve issues and improve assembly processes.
  • \n
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S and lean manufacturing principles.
  • \n
  • Follow all safety protocols, including the use of PPE and compliance with OSHA and ASME standards.
  • \n
  • Document work performed, including test results, part traceability, and quality checks.
  • \n

Qualifications:

    \n
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical training or coursework in mechanical or industrial fields is a plus.
  • \n
  • Basic understanding of mechanical tools and equipment.
  • \n
  • Ability to follow instructions, work in a team, and maintain attention to detail.
  • \n
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • \n
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • \n
  • Comfortable performing physically demanding tasks, including standing, bending, crouching, and kneeling for long durations.
  • \n
  • High level of commitment and flexibility.
  • \n
  • Willingness and ability to work shifts.
  • \n
