 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 
-  Regional Security Strategy & Compliance Oversight 
-  Develop and execute security strategies across the US region in alignment with global standards (TAPA, C-TPAT, AEO, etc.). 
-  Conduct security audits at warehouses, offices, and key vendor locations to evaluate compliance and identify vulnerabilities. 
-  Ensure effective implementation of corrective and preventive actions in collaboration with site leadership and regional teams. 
-  Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regional regulatory requirements and ensure full adherence across operations. 
-  Leadership & Team Development 
-  Lead and mentor the regional security team. 
-  Promote continuous improvement and a strong security culture across all levels of staff. 
-  Support talent development through training, performance feedback, and knowledge sharing. 
-  Risk Management & Incident Response 
-  Proactively assess and mitigate risks related to cargo theft, physical security breaches, and supply chain vulnerabilities. 
-  Lead investigations of security incidents, develop detailed reports and implement sustainable corrective actions. 
-  Coordinate with law enforcement, insurance providers, and internal stakeholders. 
-  Oversee the performance of third-party security services and surveillance systems to ensure reliability and efficiency. 
-  Client Engagement & Project Support 
-  Act as the primary security liaison for VIP clients in the US and EU, addressing concerns and delivering tailored security solutions. 
-  Design and manage end-to-end security plans for high-value or sensitive cargo projects. 
-  Ensure consistent service quality and compliance with client-specific requirements, particularly with high-profile accounts. 
-  Reporting, Policy Governance & Cross-Regional Alignment 
-  Produce and present regular reports on audit results, incidents, and key risk indicators to senior management. 
-  Develop, review, and refine regional security policies and procedures in alignment with corporate guidelines. 
-  Collaborate closely with the Asia Security Manager to ensure global consistency and share the best practices across regions. 
 ESSENTIAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS: 
-  Bachelor’s degree in security management, Criminal Justice, Logistics, or a related field. 
-  Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in security management, preferably within the logistics or freight forwarding industry. 
-  Proven track record in managing compliance with international security standards such as TAPA, C-TPAT, AEO, etc. 
-  Experience working with VIP or high-value cargo projects. 
-  Knowledge of US and EU regulatory environments and supply chain security risks. 
-  Familiarity with warehouse and transportation operations. 
-  Professional certifications such as TAPA FSR/TSR Auditor, C-TPAT Practitioner, or similar are preferred. 
-  Strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with security management systems is a plus. 
-  Strong leadership, decision-making, and interpersonal skills. 
-  Excellent communication and collaboration across multi-national teams. 
-  Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities. 
-  Client-focused mindset with the ability to manage pressure from demanding projects. 
-  High level of integrity and discretion.
