MMG Engineered Extrusions is currently looking for a 2nd/3rd shift truck loader. The shift hours are a hybrid of 2nd and 3rd, 8:00pm-4:00am, with some flexibility. Job Summary:
The loader will be responsible for loading/unloading packed aluminum extrusions on either MMG-EE trucks or contract hauler trucks by safely transporting the extruded metal between the production floor and transport vehicles using forklift trucks and overhead cranes. The loader will work with the drivers for the proper way to load the trucks for delivery. The loader is responsible for all of the paperwork associated with the order and ensuring that the paperwork corresponds with what is on the trucks to be shipped. Attention to detail is critical in this position.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to operate safely and efficiently a forklift and overhead crane in a heavy industrial environment
• General computer skills, working knowledge of EPICS preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with others in a team environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to read and write
• Proven reliability with regards to scheduled attendance and punctuality
• Ability to move trailers in and out of the loading area with yard truck preferred
• High School diploma or GED preferred
• One year related experience and/or training preferred • Experience with steel, aluminum and/or stainless steel preferred • Basic math skills• Ability to stand for long periods of time • Ability to stand, sit, bend and kneel without difficulty • Ability to repeatedly lift/pull/push 50lbs • Exposure to loud noises • Working in the presence of fork trucks and other manufacturing machinery
