We are on the hunt for a seasoned and dynamic Lead Finance Manager to join our fast-paced team in the Automotive industry. This is an outstanding opportunity for a highly motivated individual to take charge and drive our financial operations to new heights. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in selling insurance and finance products to customers, with a proven track record in the automotive industry. This role calls for a strategic thinker who is adept at handling contracts, finalizing car deals, and overseeing monthly reporting. This will oversee a team of 5 or more produces additional revenue for the dealership by selling finance and insurance programs and other appropriate after-sale items to new and used vehicle customers. Works directly with our employees and customers to develop relationships and help bridge disconnects in the sales process.

Job Details
  • Lead and manage a high-performing finance and insurance team, ensuring they are motivated, engaged and delivering to their full potential.
  • Oversee all training and development initiatives for the finance team, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Drive the sales of products and extended warranties, utilizing your strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Handle the finalization of car deals contracts, ensuring all transactions are completed accurately, efficiently and in compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Produce accurate and timely monthly reports, providing key insights into financial performance and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement robust financial strategies and processes, ensuring the financial health and sustainability of the organization.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, market conditions and competitor activity, using this information to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Work closely with other departmental leaders to drive the overall success of the organization.
•Completes paperwork necessary for vehicle sales and leases in a timely and efficient manner
•Checks all paperwork for, including but not limited to, correct title, lien information, taxes, and consumer information before forwarding to accounting
•Acquires and maintains current state insurance license,

  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience selling insurance and finance products to customers in the automotive industry.
  • Proven experience leading and managing a team, with a track record of delivering results through others.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, contract management and product sales.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • High level of commercial acumen and a deep understanding of the automotive industry.
  • Demonstrable experience in developing and implementing financial strategies and processes.
  • Proficient in the use of financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
