Description SUMMARY: This Junior Securities Credit Analyst is part of a group that manages the credit process and procedures for fixed income securities portfolio for BankUnited. This position helps the Director of Investment Portfolio Credit & Performance to create and run ongoing reporting and analysis designed to monitor and analyze the credit and performance of the Bank's investment portfolio. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties and special projects may be assigned. Build and maintain portfolio credit and stress testing reports. Analyze, monitor and report on portfolio characteristics and performance. Work closely with Investment Portfolio Credit & Performance Analyst, Portfolio Managers, and Corporate Treasury on stress testing framework and process. Additional duties and projects as assigned. Adheres to and complies with applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to anti-money laundering (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, US PATRIOT Act, etc.). Adheres to Bank policies and procedures and completes required training. Identifies and reports suspicious activity.
