Position: Entry-Level Design Project Manager

Location: Irvine, CA (Onsite)

Type: Full-time

Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Project Manager to join our team in Irvine, CA. You will manage projects from planning through completion, collaborating with engineers, clients, and consultants to ensure timely delivery and excellent service. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the growth of our Design Management Division.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand project goals and scope based on available history and information
• Manage projects including design, timelines, and costs from start to finish
• Collaborate with in-house engineers, administrative staff, consultants, clients, and permit authorities as needed
• Participate in conference calls and meetings, and present to clients under senior project managers' guidance
• Conduct local site visits with clients and consultants as required
• Uphold the company’s reputation by meeting client needs promptly
• Contribute actively to the development of the Design Management Division

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related fields
• Strong ability and willingness to learn quickly
• Excellent organizational, task, and time management skills
• Effective teamwork and communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Ability to clearly and logically explain technical concepts
• Attention to detail
• Demonstrated project management and leadership skills (through professional experience or involvement in clubs/organizations)

  Preferred (Pluses):

• Prior relevant work experience (including customer service or related fields)
• Basic familiarity with AutoCAD (2D)
• Basic knowledge of structural design, especially seismic, concrete, and steel design
