Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Entry-Level Accountant to join our team in Boston, MA. In this role, you will play a key part in handling essential financial processes and ensuring accuracy in day-to-day accounting operations. This is a long-term contract position that offers an excellent opportunity to grow your skills and gain valuable experience.
Responsibilities:
• Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice handling and payment reconciliation.
• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Handle accounts receivable tasks, such as processing payments and maintaining customer accounts.
• Apply accounting entries and ensure compliance with established procedures.
• Process cash applications and monitor transactions for accuracy.
• Utilize NetSuite to effectively manage accounting operations and data.
• Collaborate with team members to support overall financial reporting and month-end close processes.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to aid decision-making.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial documentation.
