Human Resource Generalist
Location: South Seattle | On-site
Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000 DOE

The Human Resource Generalist will support a wide range of HR initiatives and be instrumental in enhancing the employee experience through thoughtful onboarding, training, compliance, and employee relations support. This position offers the chance to collaborate with both local and regional teams and help drive HR strategy in a hands-on environment.

Overview of the Human Resource Generalist Role:

  • Support the ongoing development and facilitation of the company’s new hire orientation program.
  • Coordinate employee development and HR-related training initiatives under the direction of HR leadership.
  • Assist in the development and enforcement of HR policies and procedures; identify challenges and propose solutions in collaboration with the HR Manager.
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal requirements, including E-Verify and new hire reporting.
  • Help foster a positive work environment through effective employee relations support and performance coaching.
  • Advise management on personnel matters to ensure consistent and fair practices aligned with company culture.
  • Partner with HR teammates and operations leaders to effectively execute business goals and promote workforce engagement.
  • Serve as a liaison between compensation and benefits functions to streamline employee communication.
  • Maintain and generate reports through the HRIS system as needed (e.g., job titles, performance reviews).
  • Provide support for unemployment claims and ensure proper documentation retention.
  • Remain flexible and responsive to evolving business needs and special HR projects.

Preferred Qualifications for the Human Resource Generalist:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist or similar role.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and resourceful mindset.
  • Proven team player with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Willingness to travel up to 15% based on business needs.
