We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will operate heavy machinery, specifically excavators, to assist in various construction, excavating, and landscaping projects. This role requires a strong understanding of equipment operation, safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members on-site.

• Operating several pieces of dirt work equipment including, but not limited to Dozer, Track loader, Excavator, Skid steer, tractor, and Backhoe. Assists crew in daily operations on assigned job sites.
• Perform assignments outlined by supervisors and standard procedures are followed in the performance of duties. Work is inspected periodically for both safety and operational efficiency. 
• Follows all safety, compliance and environmental requirements in alignment with company standards.
• To act in a safe manner, aware and willing to act upon observing any unsafe practices.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and inspections on quipment.
• Must be detail oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
• Must be able to prioritize work.
• All other tasks Assigned by manager.
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors. 

Experience

• Proven experience as an Excavator Operator or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and the operation of various heavy machinery.
• Mechanical knowledge is to troubleshoot minor issues with machinery.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment while adhering to safety standards.

Certifications/Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License
• Valid CDL or ability to obtain one within a reasonable amount of time
