Attorney General Andrea Joy Campbell is looking for a highly motivated person to join her team as an analyst in the Energy & Ratepayer Advocacy Division of the Energy & Environment Bureau.
Pursuant to G.L. c. 12, 11E, ERA advocates on behalf of the customers of Massachusetts' electric, gas, and water companies. ERA's mission includes holding utilities accountable for providing just and reasonable rates; advocating for a smart, cost-effective and equitable clean energy transition; and protecting consumers from predatory energy companies.
Primary Duties: The Energy Analyst position is a non-attorney position with a critical role in supporting the work of the Division. The Energy Analyst will have the opportunity to: represent the Office of the Attorney General on committees, working groups, and councils on both the regional and state levels; collaborate with other stakeholders; contribute to the development of cutting-edge policy initiatives; attend cases in administrative and judicial settings; make oral and written presentations at meetings; work independently and creatively to solve problems; work with outside subject-matter experts/consultants; and participate in larger, officewide activities and committees. Our current hybrid model includes some remote workdays for most positions. On in-office days, employees are required to report to one of our designated office locations, either in Boston or at a regional office.
Salary: $112,116 - $133,542, commensurate with experience.
