Emory Universitys Department of Medicine, Division of Nephrology seeks a full-time fellowship-trained Transplant Nephrologist at the rank of Assistant Professor or higher to join a robust team. Candidates will be considered based on their experience and long-term career interests.

Summary of Duties:

  • Serve as a transplant nephrologist in the Emory Transplant Center with an active inpatient and outpatient practice, covering Emory-owned and affiliated hospitals.
  • Maintain an academic appointment in the Renal Division, Department of Medicine, Emory University School of Medicine.
  • Provide outstanding clinical care, ensure quality and patient safety, facilitate clinical trials, and develop innovative strategies in adult abdominal transplant surgery.
  • Focus on clinical or basic research, quality improvement, and education.
  • Participate in committees, patient selection, peer review, case conferences, patient workups, procedures, and adopt new tools/technologies in abdominal transplant.
  • Mentor and educate medical students, residents, fellows, and other trainees in the transplant surgery service.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Board certified in nephrology
  • Completion of an AST-accredited Transplant Nephrology Fellowship
  • Unrestricted medical license in Georgia

Note: Tasks are generally performed in-person at an Emory location. Remote work options may be available at the department's discretion. Emory reserves the right to modify remote work policies with notice.
