Job Details Job Location : 38th Street - Brooklyn, NY Position Type : Full Time Salary Range : $18.00 - $22.00 Hourly Job Shift : Afternoon/Evening Dental Assistant DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Escort patients into dental treatment rooms and prepare patient and chart for the dentist. Sanitize all surfaces of the dental room, ensure proper functioning of equipment, discard disposable supplies and instruments, and prepare instruments and supplies for the next patient. Perform and develop diagnostic x-rays and panoramic x-rays when necessary. Assist the dentist by handling instruments and supplies, suctioning, irrigating, and taking teeth impressions as directed. Dismiss patients after treatment, providing assistance as needed. Clean the dental treatment room, removing instruments and supplies, and prepare for the next patient. Maintain appropriate inventory of supplies in each room. Perform suctions on a rotational basis. Dental Assistant EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Required to have one of the following: DA Certificate, High School Diploma, College diploma, or 1 year of experience.
