We are looking for a CRNA to join our Anesthesiology Department, ongoing locum tenens opportunity, starting September 15, 2025 . We need a provider who has an active Vermont license or IMLC and can be credentialed quickly to support our team.

Opportunity Highlights

  • End Date: Ongoing
  • Schedule: Four 10-hour days or three 12-13 hour days, with varying days each week. Shift hours are typically 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM/8:00 PM .
  • Call: There are no call hours for this position.
  • Work Environment: You will be working at a 620-bed Level 1 Trauma Center and teaching hospital , serving the local community and regions of Vermont and northern New York. We conduct more than 25,000 anesthetics yearly in our 20-bed operating room suite and 4 minor procedure rooms.
  • Procedures: You will be required to perform General, MAC, Regional (spinals), and arterial lines .
  • Team & Support: We operate in a traditional ACT (Anesthesia Care Team) model . The typical supervision ratio is 1:2, occasionally 1:3, and you will work with a collaborative group of MDs, DOs, CRNAs, CAAs, and residents. We also have anesthesia techs and SRS to facilitate room flow and turnover.
  • EMR System: We utilize Epic for both hospital and clinic EMR.
  • Cultural Expectations: We have a very respectful and collegial staff who are supportive of all providers, and we expect the locum to be the same.

  • Robotic, Urology, Ortho
  • Plastics, Neuro, GI, IR
  • Endo, EP, MRI, Ophthalmology
  • Dental
Requirements
  • Board Certification: NBCRNA (National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists) certified.
  • Certifications: Active BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications are required.
  • Licensure: You must have an active VT license or IMLC and be able to credential quickly.
