Club Reception - FULL TIME

The Role
Assisting the oversight of the Club Reception operations and ensuring its overall success. Supporting the Front of House staff and Membership Management team as needed.
The Responsibilities:
● Ensures all FOH staff including; Club Reception upholds Zero Bond standards, rules and policies.
● Be present in the recruitment and training of new staff.
● Managing food and beverage day to day operations within budget and to Zero Bond standards
● Promote teamwork within the Club creating a positive work environment
● Maintain a constant presence in the club, taking time to talk to members and build relationships.
● Help ensure that guests admitted to the club for private hire events only (i.e. are not members) do not work their way into private club spaces. If they do, ensure they are rerouted / escorted back to the right spaces. ● Ensures DOH compliance throughout the club
● Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility
● Any other duties as directed by the Director of Operations and Head of Membership
Qualifications & Disposition:
● Proficient in all aspects of dining service with great attention to detail ● Knowledge of food and beverage as well as a passion to cultivate this skill ● Minimal experience with cost control systems to include food, beverage and labor percentages ● Effective style of management promoting a team atmosphere ● Ability to inspire staff to achieve their potential ● Basic understanding of food handling and sanitation requirements of the New York State Department of Health ● Open availability, with the ability to work nights and weekends. ● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. ● Strong work ethic and positive attitude. ● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
