Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated Chemical Engineer to join our engineering team. This role will focus on supporting new product development, process optimization, and manufacturing scale-up of polymer and adhesive systems. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to both R&D initiatives and production support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and optimize polymer formulations, adhesives, and coatings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, production, and quality) to transition lab-scale processes into manufacturing.
  • Conduct process analysis and implement improvements for efficiency, safety, and sustainability.
  • Support troubleshooting of chemical processes and equipment in manufacturing.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation, reports, and standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with customers and suppliers to address technical challenges and ensure product quality.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • 2-5+ years of experience in chemical, polymer, or adhesive manufacturing preferred.
  • Knowledge of polymer chemistry, adhesives, coatings, or related materials preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a practical, hands-on approach.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Familiarity with process engineering, scale-up, and lab-to-production transfer is a plus.
