Job Description
Must agree to sign a collaborative practice with a Nephrologists and complete all required paperwork for the State Board of Nursing. Must provide valid BLS and ACLS cards as well as proof of licensure in good standing in the State of Louisiana.
Job will be part-time 2-10 hours/month
$75.00/hour + mileage
The Initial Dialysis schedule will only be with 1 patient on Monday-Wednesday-Friday. Plans for expansion to up to 3 shifts per day, 6 days a week, as the program grows.
RESPONSILBILITES INCLUDE:
See and assess patients in the dialysis unit once a week for 3 weeks/month.
Document care and communicate with the Nephrologists and Program Administrator regarding patient assessments/needs.
Will not be responsible for dialysis prescription or adjustments.
Perform medication reconciliation on admission and as needed weekly.
Dialysis experience not necessary but preferred.
Participate in Interdisciplinary team meetings as well as monthly QAPI meetings.
