The Valet Cashier is responsible for securing guest vehicle keys and accurately collecting and reconciling revenue while providing exceptional hospitality services in an attentive and friendly manner. Duties include maintaining a pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients; greeting guests within five feet; using guest last names during interactions; practicing proper phone etiquette; assisting guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries; providing information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, and local attractions; collecting and reconciling revenue, furnishing receipts, categorizing tickets for audit, and completing detailed shift reports; operating equipment such as register, gate, and credit card machine; maintaining claim checks and guest folio archives; producing guest vehicle key inventory; maintaining a clean work environment; collecting claim checks/tickets and checking keys for vehicle location and damage surveys. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen, one to three months related customer service experience or equivalent, cashier/cash handling experience preferred, and skills in basic math and communication. Physical demands include sitting or standing for extended periods, occasional lifting up to 50 pounds, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Travel up to 5% may be required.
