We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Forest Lake, Pennsylvania. This is a contract to hire position suited for individuals who excel in high-volume environments and possess strong organizational skills. Responsibilities:

• Process a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently to ensure timely payments.

• Perform detailed data entry and scanning tasks for invoice management.

• Maintain and organize records of accounts payable transactions.

• Collaborate with the team to address discrepancies and resolve payment issues.

• Monitor and prioritize workload to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Assist in streamlining accounts payable processes to improve efficiency.

• Communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders regarding payment inquiries.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

• Support the team in catching up on backlog due to increased invoice volume.

• Provide training and guidance to less experienced team members, as needed.

• Proven experience in accounts payable or a related role.
• Strong proficiency in data entry and invoice scanning.
• Familiarity with accounting principles and procedures.
• Ability to manage a high workload while maintaining accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with vendors and team members.
• Knowledge of compliance standards and best practices in accounts payable.
• Prior experience working in a shared services environment is a plus.
